We will not post any URL "Outside Links" on any individual poem pages (within the content or as a footnote). But we are happy to provide an outside link of your choice in your Purple Dream Resident Website with your introduction (as long as the link is directed to your own poetry related website). |

Subject: Newsletters
It came to our attention that some of the ISP has block our Newsletters from our mail server, and some of our subscribers could not receive our New Publication Notice. If you are one of our Newsletter subscribers and did not receive our Newsletters at least once a month, you can view copies of the Latest Newsletters online. |

Subject: Internet Search Engines
We submitted the URL of all our Resident Websites, Resident Index and poem pages to search engines on the Internet. Internet users should be able to find your links by doing searches with your name at - Google, Yahoo, Ask, AltaVista, MetaCrawler, Search, DogPile, WebCrawler, etc. We are not related to any of these search engines, and we have no control over their listings. |

Subject: E-Mail Submission
We received numerous submissions by e-mail (text format) which bundle with number of articles; we found it's too time consuming for us to separate the text, individual poem and to store the articles. To ensure that we will be able to review all your submissions, we no longer accept e-mail submissions, use our Submission Form instead. |

Subject: President's Pen-Name
We no longer accept submissions with a nickname or just your first name, your full name (at least an initial or first name and last name) is required. All personal websites with poems using just a nickname will be remove unless you update your poems with your full name by March 2005. Contact The Editor to update your poems with your full name. |

If you have 5 or more published poems on our site, you can have your Personal Website (http://yourname.purpledream.com).
Purple Dream will create, update and manage your website; besides having all your published poems in your site; with the Setup/Update form, you can post/edit an introduction, add/remove email address. |

Subject: Spin-Off Pages
New Spin-Off Pages started, residents can Submit Spin-Off poem as continuations, which was inspired, related, argument, and/or answer to the latest poem posted on top of each of the Spin-Off pages. You can also start a NEW Spin-Off page, by providing the "Title" of the other poem that inspired your submission. |

Subject: Favorite Votes
In order to avoid too many listings on the same Favorite Vote page, we had split it into parts (6 month per page). Each page features its own top favorites. The Top Favorites page lists the top 5 favorites for all period since 2002. |

Subject: Poems In Forum
Lately there are poems posted in our Forum by users. This defeats the purpose of our Forum (as a message board). In order to standardize our format, all poems detected in the Forum will be removed and the user will be ban from posting messages. Please Submit your poems for all to read on our poetry pages. |

Our new Chat Room has been installed. Check our Chat Schedules and (as a Resident) you can be one of our Chat Host and pre-schedule Public Chat Sessions with our Schedule Request Form. Chat Rooms are equipped with: user registration, user profile, private chat, counts, faces, font type, color and size selections and more. |

Subject: Five Star Rating System
We are considering the installation of a Five Star Rating system to replace the current Favorite Votes. According to our users' votes on this issue over 2 months, 48% were for and 46% were against it. Thus, the results do not warrant the switching of the system at this time. |

Purple Dream is an non-profit website conducted on our spare time. Our time and resources are quite limited. We are always behind and may not be able to update our site with as many articles and as frequently as we would like it, but we are striving to catch up. Thank you for your patience. |

We received numerous submissions by e-mail attachments with different file formats. Data retrieving problems occurred frequently with some of those files. Purple Dream does not believe in contests. We believe that Arts are not to be judged by a few, or even a hundred persons to determinate the "artistic value" of the works.
