One thing about life, it will challenge you,
And will later find you out.
Throwing it's punches from everywhere,
Trying to win the bout.
No fighting fair, it's just not there,
Even the good has it's play.
When you try so hard to make things work,
Something comes to offset your day.
But I found an antidote, for life's problems,
And that is to smile even when it hurts.
For surly it will try to keep you down,
Therefore, you must be on alert.
When the weathers bad "say it's sunny",
If broke, just say your rich.
When out of work, say you own the building,
In whatever it is, just find your niche.
Who can best write your life's story,
But the one who braved the trail.
Rising up each day to face the challenge,
And being determined not to fail.
When life knocks, you can open the door,
And have no fear of accepting it in.
And no matter if raining, clear or dark,
You have within, the will to win.
Give someone a helping hand,
Give that flower while they are here.
And this makes one's life a little bit better,
In knowing you helped to bring some cheer.
