An angel walks with me
She's never far and keeps me from harm
I have known her all my life
My guardian angel
I run her ragged and keep her busy
It's because of her I am still here
I hold her close to my heart
One day I jumped in my car
I turned the key
The car started flying backward
I couldn't stop and I had no control
I thought I was doomed to die
As I started to feel tears
I said these words
Goodbye Mom and dad
Goodbye sweet children that I had
And goodbye to my dear husband Dan
I am sorry for any thing I may have done
I hope you can forgive me
For I fear I may be gone
As a tear ran down
Time was suspended in space
I felt my angel guide my foot to the brake
Pushing it down and stopping the car
The car spun a couple of times
I held on with all my strength
Because with her I am brave
I would like to thank her
And let her know
I appreciate all she's done
Without her I would be gone
