Is There Anyone There?
Marc Aaron Ray |
Sometimes I lay and watch you sleep,
Wondering if you are a dream.
Thinking to myself,
How could I ever get someone like you?
There is nothing I'd rather do,
Than to spend my whole life with you.
To walk upon the sandy beaches
Walking hand in hand.
Sometimes I want to cry,
Not knowing what tomorrow holds.
Never wanting to leave your side,
As we travel through this life.
There's a moral to this poem,
Yet maybe not all can see.
There's a little child out there,
That has no family.
Just remember the little child,
And keep in touch with those who care.
One of these days they'll all be gone,
And you'll be left wondering if anyone's there. |
 |
This poem is dedicated to all the
children out there without a family. |
