My Reflection
Kathy Gandy |
In front of the mirror
I stand and stare.
I see a reflection
that once wasn't there.
My body has changed
and it's easy to see.
As I look at myself,
I say is that really me?
I once was so thin
but not anymore.
My hair was once dark
but that was before.
My hair is now gray
and I'm no longer thin.
I have tiny little wrinkles
that show on my skin.
As I look in the mirror
and my reflection I see;
I ask myself this question,
Can that really be me?
