  Myself And The Twilight
Simon Adam

Rhapsodizing lone,
Gazing at the twilight.

In this sleepless solitude zone.
Where leads the night?

This heart has pledged many a times.
Awaited a falling star.
Fabricated rhythms and rhymes,
Wondering where you are.

Oh, to be free again.
Perchance to pair.
Then falls heavy rain,
And shatters the romance in the air.

Blue is the twilight.
Oh, innocent self, so are you.
Grant me a favour if you might,
And make this feeling untrue.

The moon rises to fall once more.
She completes another course,
Dips her hand for spirits to restore.
Her children, the stars give her this force.

Oh, lonely self, gaze away.
Learn from this true creation.
Perhaps, just perhaps one day,
You will achieve your liberation.
