He Roams
Tammy Soleno |
Sweat beading down my face
Heart pounding a fast steady pace
Anxiety comes quickly over me
A nervousness I never felt before he
Shaking at the thought of him coming home
Screaming, yelling, around the house he roams
Not knowing what's in store for me
Why the hell can't he just let me be?
Those horrible words he yells out loud
Someday I am going to leave I vowed
In the end he will realize what he had
To be gone is going to make me glad
Bossing me around doesn't make him a man
Hoping he never finds out my plan
To pack up, leave never look back
I pray my footsteps he can never track |
