I hear the words that are mistakenly said
The tears that are mistakenly shed
The heart that mistakenly stop
The sound of the glass mistakenly drop
The room pulses and everyone talks
Like nothings wrong around the room everyone walks
No one sees the walls caving in
No one else feels the line growing thin
My throat closes and I can't breath
Everyone laughs not noticing me
My eyes dart...I can breath
But still the walls are closing in on me
I try to move...Try to get out
No one hears me when I shout
Laughter fades from the room and the people are gone
Slumped in my chair all alone
Where did they go...how did they leave
Why did they go...what about me?
I look down they have forgotten me
Laughter is all they need unfortunately
I get up and walk out the door
If they don't need me...I won't be in their way anymore
