Things don't always go my way
I have those good and bad days
and I don't always get answered prayers
but all the things in my life
I'm happy the way they are now
finally where I wanted to be
and now I'm starting to see
everything was worth it
I learned from all my mistakes and the pain
I've grown up
I made it through the tough times
got easily through the good times
everything didn't turn out perfect
but everything didn't turn out horrible either
I didn't always get what I wanted
I didn't always want what I got
but i have it and it's helped me alot
I regret some things I said
and some things I didn't say
but I cant go and take it back
my heart has been broken
but then sewed back up
I've cried then dried my eyes
I've had moments I wanted to fast-foward through
and moments I wanted to live in for forever
but I gotta look to the future now
everythings waiting to happen
