Return To Marshy Moor
Paul E. Berube

Marshy Moor has charmed the heart
of many naughty soul.
A woman's song hath lured them in
to wallow in the fold.

Wandering minds are easy prey
and oblivious to a scream.
Catty calls and lonely days
entices those who dream.

Fees are paid by either genre
the moor does not prefer.
Lassies known have lost their way,
to this I can concur.

Sally Smith, a lass so fair,
heard a pipers tune one night.
Sayings go, you pay the piper,
when the tune just isn't right.

Most are never what they seem,
you must remember this.
Pay no attention to a tease,
and a kiss isn't always bliss.
