Because they need a Lean Fighting Machine
Someone Strong like Steel
Bust most of all someone that can miss a meal
This is no time for fun
They need someone who can get the job done
I'm proud to be a wife of a Marine
If you ask me I think its keen
Even so, To send my Marine out on a Wild Mission
I would much rather not listen
So if you are a wife to a Marine don't be sad or upset
If Uncle Sam calls on him to become a Vet
Hold your head up high and be proud
For you are among the ranks of the strong
And with that, you can never go wrong
