What She Had Always Meant
Jeremy Bjelland |
She was here just the other day,
I can't believe that she passed away,
Nobody thought this could ever come,
Angel from heaven it seemed she was from,
She was always there when I needed her,
She would always be my crying shoulder,
I remember when we were going out,
We always found something to fight about,
She had so much trust it was amazing,
If she needed to talk I love how she'd come to me,
Nothing was going to tear our friendship apart,
We loved each other down to our heart,
On her way to a basketball game the other night,
She got rear ended by a drunk at a red light,
She went out in the middle of the other street,
No way the semi could stop before they meet,
She always said she never liked goodbyes,
I never understood exactly why,
But that night when I heard about the accident,
I somehow knew exactly what she had meant.
