Souls
Destitute,
Destroyed,
Humiliated,
Tortured and mutilated
Carcass deprived from breath
Elders disgusted into depress
Children livin' in terrors of stress
Bodies decayin' in catacombs
For awaitin' a bliss,
A miracle, a saviour
Whilst ears ajar, I cramp to hear
Their last sighs
Severed under staggers of death
I just impede; paralysed with no cure
For their bereavement
Lingering to hear the ultimate inhalation
To their fatality
Dispirited youth delivering anonymous hearts,
Hammerin' horrid apprehensions
I blockade, faded in meaning;
Head teeming unsolved interrogations
Though still to delude myself
For their case to be saved;
Victims of cries, victims of sinister nights
Victims of the supreme carnage;
To their innocence to massacre,
Their blood to quaff
Yet sole this trepidation in their eyes
Could reveal;
For they don't speak,
They don't scream;
They don't hope at all
Only their eyes could display
These horrors of repugnance;
Only their trembling eyes
Could explain the triumph
Of the absolute end.
