Living so far as I have,
Strapped down like a snake is not one of these,
True torture would it surely be,
And how I would fear if that day came.
I know slavery has been demolished,
But encaged by life was never so,
And I could still be taken away of my freedom either way,
But not if I earn my every day.
Birds should fly free,
Fish should swim as they wish,
I should too,
Of dreaming in search of hope,
Never tied down by anything.
If I ever had to be held,
In one place,
With no windows,
Or doors,
With no entrances,
Or exits,
I would die first before the morning shines.
Human are meant to live free,
Free of anything,
Never tied down,
Meant for trying,
Trying meaning failure,
And at last success.
I am meant for flying,
Meant for swimming,
Running,
And writing,
I am meant for everything and anything.
There is nothing I am not meant for,
As long as you try,
You are meant for everything and anything.
Think outside the box,
Trees shaking could be dancing,
Crows shrieking could be comforting,
Wolves howling could be singing,
Who said we had to be perfect to do what we like?
No one,
And that's it,
No one.
