To love Is To Leave
Mary Stoddard

The beauty I possess is like a garden
It may be tiny, but gorgeous
It is essential only when behind me
I am a goddess who is free from lust and whispers
The light from my breast
Shadows upon his symphonic smell
I scream out over and over as he rips evil from its place
While throwing elaborate looks my way

Stop! I chant!
Sleep to manipulate me
Honey! I cry-
Time will take its shot
Remember
That a train that moving too fast
Only ends up in a repulsive picture
Darling! I shout-
Do not believe in me,
For I sing only to receive

His lather is upon my chest
The bubbles pop as my heart loses its last feeling
A woman turned to stone
Feeling helpless against a power he must certainly possess
Smooth legs always attract more attention
Than the ones who stand off to the side

A vision of love is easy to conceive
But to find one who so intrigues the mind & soul
Seems impossible
Give me an enormous diamond
Treat me to silver, and gold,
All of the riches that we find so illuminating
Fill my heart with overwhelming happiness...
Make me love to leave
