Shredding your soul to bits
Feeding its very essence
To the disposal of human emotion
-and still you remain true
We all revert into ourselves
Seeking honesty,
A refuge-
From all that blackens us inside
I watch you fade
Having nowhere to run from yourself
You've begun to crumble
Pieces of your heart fall around me
"Confide in no one," you say-
Disconcert those who wont see
Inside your shell,
Beyond all the scars-
Which have misled others to your nadir,
I have accepted this with open arms
I want to embrace-
To heal your bleeding soul
There must be a way
For you to accept this, as well
A way for you-
To yield from the blow
Realize your true power
For this has pained me,
As it has pained you
No longer am I outside this
Becoming one with you-
Makes me yearn for truth.
