Dad
Arthur A. Holt |
Dear father you survived a world war,
then when it was over you left to see more,
New Zealand the place you decided to stay,
but that's not the end you needed to be payed,
so the army it was for money not war,
but you were sent of on a Korean tour,
making new friends but enemies were more,
how hard it would have been to see a friend fall,
kill or be killed to see the next day,
how hard it would have been to live that way,
when I was young I forgot about this war,
now I'm older it's forgotten no more.
