Where is sanity in this place?
With its wreathed walls and steep stairwells.
What is sanity in this place?
Where dreams die and reality runs.
In this place called society, where is room for piety,
And when will it all seem clear?
Where is success in this place?
With its gall-guided greed , and slippery steps,
What is success in this place?
Where humanity hides and prejudice prevails.
In this place called the world, when will hiding mists be unfurled,
And when will it all turn right?
Pretend your powerful, and march with the mighty,
Reassure your revolutions, and surrender to society,
Make sure all your words and thoughts are dandy,
Hide your differences with their sugar coated candy,
Lets all run to the same simple fate,
And pretend to approve of Society the Great.
