A "New" New Year's Resolution

I was thinking of a new years resolution,
But my thoughts they left me very much confused,
I realized that all of my ideas,
In past years, one and all, they had been used.
What resolution could my mind, this year, come up with?
What resolution have I not once used before?
It must be something special, not too simple,
And of course, must not be too much of a chore!
It will have to be a tad-bit realistic,
Not something that I know I can't achieve,
And something that I know I can get hyped for,
And of course, a thing my heart will sure believe.
Maybe this year's "New Year's" resolution,
Should be to think throughout the whole year through and through,
Of what I can resolve this coming "New Year's",
Cause for this year, I still haven't got a clue.
