I watch and feel your fear from within,
like a deer in headlights, right back were we've been.
We swore we wouldn't go there again.
Afraid to ask you, unsure what to say.
I saw it written all over your face today.
Its not yet taken over, we still have time.
Can I bring myself to say anything while there's still time.
Why such suffering to just having fun.
Not willing to decease, we've only just begun.
All the while knowing pause would only work wonders.
Benefit us, among others.
I'm gonna regret these words I spoke,
But in the end its what will work.
Question is do we thrash like in memory,
Or use our non-existent reserve and preserve
What we have regretted in history
