Enmity
Colette M. Friedman |
Black and White, Shadow, and Light
A soft whisper bursts against their barren stair
"I am here, come take me, show me where"
The Giants of the earth will quiver and move today
They will clarify, "Your time has come, let us show you the way"
A crackling of the earth, a pounding thud
Slowly they rise, wrenching and pulling the earths blood
They speak, "Your time has come", as though in chorus
"Rise enmity; awaken now as you stand here before us"
Rain, rain is falling down upon me now
A wish, a wish, a healing bow
I must change, must change my life somehow
Must value myself again; consecrate what I wish to do
Must not allow others to influence my point of view
Must not allow burdens to get in the way
Keep negativity and criticisms far away
I rise, and a magnificent vision has begun
They are moving towards me, walking mightily as though in unison
Towards me, I feel their power, the power within me
Exalted, the exodus has begun, finally! The Exodus of Enmity!
