Where The Lion Lay With The Lamb
Adam Thrush |
If we as human beings were perfect would we then dream of being flawed?
In this expanding universe it is difficult to surmise on a subject so broad
If we let the laughter strangle our aspirations, our inspirations, our communications with love
In this expanding universe there will be nothing for us to ever dream of
I can't withstand, can not understand, why you put your hand on the lens of my telescope
I can't climb, can't find the time, so don't even bother to throw me the rope
It isn't like I'd have the energy to make it so far
To that gateless kingdom, To that unheated star
Where the lion lay with the lamb
