where an ocean wind
sighs
stands as she tries.
In the silence
between day and night
between hope and dreaming,
water is carved
deep
in where a poet grows
in where a child to woman
perceives.
A young girl dares
to paint
her colors true
to dance
her words free.
When only a poet believes
