God's Garden
Cindy Zilinek |
Frolicking through the vast grassland,
Wildflowers tickling, brushing against my leg,
Dandelions whisk softly by my face,
My hair blows gently in the breeze.
Birds bathing themselves in shallow pools,
Squirrels hurriedly scampering along branches,
Leaves gently whirling in the wind,
Trees stand tall shading the land below.
Behold the beauty of nature,
Breathe in whiffs of fresh air,
Feel the freedom of God's garden,
Embrace the warmth shining down on you.
If only my life was like God's garden,
I would caress such innerpeace,
I would hold dear all that surrounds me,
And gaze into my future without fear.
