how swiftly and strong they beat,
far too beautiful to look upon
when still, exquisitely complete.
How many souls have been lifted
by these wond'rous wings of love,
gently taken to their resting place
to eternal peacefulness above.
Caring angel, guiding, saving
with Gods' hand, across all time,
beneath your wings of purity
I will welcome my rest divine.
