Maytime
Betty Hattersley
|
May blossoms fill the branches and decorate the tree,
All beauty in it's vast array, a pleasure for to see.
Young animals are happy, starting out on life,
Then when they get much older, each male will take a wife.
It is the end of spring this month, time to knock on summers door,
Many hours for us to spend in nature's color store.
Every spring is special, how fresh the air can feel,
when you look at all this splendor, you wonder if it's real.
