Absence Belongs
Hamish Mackenzie

Go away, where i once was is now only a broken tire
Once fueled by love, only the cold fuels my desire
If you leave now, do not return, with presence you bring tears
If you choose to stay, safety i will taint, open the fears!

You are the one, you the antagonist, the predictor, predator.
Leave me empty and belong to my absence.

Opening doors all slammed shut, the moment i found that truce
inside determent like sunshine when all you have is a noose
ignorance is a blessing where I'm from, not knowing.
toil in wonder beside the place of life to death is it flowing?

You are the one, you the antagonist, the predictor, predator.
Leave me empty and belong to my absence.

Cant you see? this pain grows longer than you and me.
And with all that we've been through, doesn't absence belong?
