Thanksgiving Time

When discouraged with problems of the day,
we miss the joyful things along life's way.
When trouble overwhelms us
and nerves begin to fray
this is the time
to kneel down and pray.
Reflecting on God's many gifts
will make us aware of the joy
in little things that everyday we enjoy.
We must try to remember
when problems come our way,
not to miss the joyful things
and the beauty of each day.
We must take time to thank God
for the good things He does give.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time
to send love and remember to forgive.
Thanksgiving is becoming a lost holiday
and at strangers we no longer nod or smile.
Thanking God for life and good friends
will never go out of style.
