Once so emerald
And burning gold
Brought on to me a smile
But Mother Nature has turned
The tables on me
And brought on to me a shiver
As cold as the sea
My feet are planting its presence
In the white blanket
Wrapped around the earth
I search for some warmth
As I step into the shelter
Feeling the fire upon my face
I've never seen such a loving place
Where all your sorrow
And all your pain
Are taken away
In this home set apart from the storm
