sweet child
behind windows cold,
her fireplace sighs
do they hide
in the shade
of a Christmas tree
eyes wide
in the shadows
of colored lights
blinking,
as wind silent
she sits
for a moment more
then.
child dreams

seems to see
a world of peace
in the shadows
