An affinity with the ocean
I felt the soft salty spray
Strolling along the beach
I reached a secluded bay
Into the warm rock pools
I reach in with my hand
While gentle waves flow
Rivulets form in the sand
Knelt by the water's edge
The surf comes rolling in
Lapping through my toes
Waves caressed my skin
Whilst embracing the flow
I hear the whispering sea
Placing a shell to my ear
Gave the feeling of affinity
