Arise figures!
And play my words to songs
Clink! You metal, you ogene
For a prophet of a prince
The unborn king among a proud race
With frames inches to the throne
Bearing the marks of honor
He walks stealthily by the corridor of power
Imbued with the drive of a dream
Behold! a Joseph usurps the throne
And to judgment arrives a Daniel
He sojourns to return
Far beyond the great Niger divide
First at Warri, Owerri, then Lagos
Via Umuahia and all the way up
He's tall and so stretches to the heights
Clothed in the regalia of greatness
In the mould of Chuba and the Mandiba
Eyes beclouded with vision in the horizon
His mind with the people in fusion
Hands fingered with diligence and doggedness
Behold! a prince that wears a crown
IK---IKECHUKWU, the heir of Ogbonna
