After She Had Gone Away
Rachna Bhushan |
Life was such an eternal bliss, till yesterday,
Happy,carefree,joyous'n gay,
When I could fly to any heights,
In wide open space,
coming back into her loving warm embrace.
Her arms around would hug me tight,
Swinging round and sway,
All this dawned upon me after she had gone away
Her grey hair, like silver clouds,
her soft touch of face,
Her brown eyes,smiling lips,
All added to her grace.
Her hands above me kept me safe,
far from distress,
That I cuddled like a little child
In her warm caress.
I never felt the blows of life
Till that fateful day,
All this dawned upon me after she had gone away
I tried my best to forget her,
But all appears in vain,
How I wish I could have stayed
Her little one again.
She left me sinking in oceans of depression,
Her warm hugs and tender kiss,
are still my prized possession,
Her sweet memories wake me still,
like early morning ray,
All this dawned upon me after,
SHE had gone away.
Dedicated to My Loving MOM
