I see the red dots of light
Over every tower
That circles the town so closely.
As this night prevails,
So lonely.
I kept my view
Just long enough to know
The night...
Just like the memories of the past,
That sways away in front of my eyes,
Like every nights do.
Then I look at the sky
That takes a different look
Every time it shows its sudden spark of
Light.
Threatening for the rain to come
And make it all go away!
I search and keep searching
On the roof of every house,
For something I don't know.
May be its just peace
Or may be just some spare time
I need so much!
Then I take my eyes
To the heart of the scene-
The twinkling lights
Of all the sky-scrapers.
I feel life inside them,
A life...so feeble,
Like mine.
So feeble,
That they wouldn't last a day.
Why don't these nights go far?
Why don't they last long enough
To refuse the day?
I look to the tower lights again.
Those lights...
They keep us from breaking the bound.
And see the life that lies ahead.
A new life,
In some distant land.
