How can we understand nature's array?
Four seasons she sends us, to cover each day.
Winter, then Spring, fine Summers and Fall,
Thinking we know her, we don't know her at all.
Can't take her for granted, don't get her annoyed,
Many think they can beat her, lets just say, they have tried.
When you think it is summer, she can flood lands with rain,
Tsunamis and Hurricanes sending sadness and pain.
Crops that have died, why cause a drought?
She really is strong and of that there's no doubt.
So cold in the winter, with ice everywhere,
You think she's not bothered, don't really care.
Yet look at the beauty when nature is kind,
No prettier place than our earth you will find.
All round the world you can see where she's been,
Her stage she prepares to deliver the scene.
I don't understand her, so good and yet bad,
She can make people happy but then make them sad.
By helping grow food that everyone needs,
Then she sends her bad weather to ruin the seeds.
Perhaps she knows best, her secrets she keeps,
Sometimes she's awake and then fast asleep.
Not knowing what next she has in her plan,
Just try to be kinder, dear nature, to man.
