The white snow landed by her snow white feet
And she picked up the rose beside her sleeve
It was left there by a man gone far away
But in her heart he will forever remain
Like lily buds her rosy cheeks flushed
With a bit of snow her smile lighted
It wouldn't matter now if they were together or apart
Her heart is his and he's never too far
Below the starry sky was the mist of dreams
He wasn't there with her but she still believed
He mustn't have gone too far she thought
Yet what she did not know is that he won't be coming back
On this snowy day she opened the doors
They said he past bravely just like a man
She watched them lower him into the ground
And silently she sighed he won't be back anymore
