If you close your eyes for a moment,
imagine what you see.
A hidden world, just out of sight,
away from life's misery.
You can walk in fields of ripened corn,
and taste the sweetened cob.
Forget your fears from the other life;
Lack of money, hope or job.
As you hike through happy forests,
and hear the singing apple trees;
You can join in games with the animals,
which will never seek to flee.
You can dance around some toadstools,
to the sweet tones of pan-pipes;
Eat oatmeal breakfast with the fauns;
Saviour apples full and ripe.
You can take a trip down river,
on a gilded fairy boat;
Gaze in joy and wonder,
at fairy herders with their goats.
You can be whatever you want to be;
And do the things you love.
Because;
If you close your eyes for a moment;
You're at one with God above!
