The Hawk And The Dove
Robert Fullerton |
Behold! Upon her graceful arm, is perched, a fearsome bird of prey.
What makes it wish to stay with her?..And not simply fly away?
Perhaps their spirits mingled, and the hawk became a dove
Stranger things have happened in the mysteries of love.
She speaks of poems, of feelings, deep, shows a heart that's pure and warm
How many wish they were the hawk, and walking with her arm?
She's read the words of Kipling, and holds his stories dear.
Unless I am mistaken; we'll soon see her poems here.
