Winter Dream
Ursula Steinhauser
 |
Still waiting for the whispers of winter
Not really enjoying spring-mild sunshine,
I wish for soft snowflakes of filigree silver,
This awesome wonder, from angels a sign.
Beautiful cold granting us ice and snow
For winter plays and fun a vital part
Frost’s breath stirs icicle dreams of diamond glow
What coldness brings forth looks a piece of art.
We're happy to glide with a sleigh over land.
In crystal sunlight or dazzling moonbeams
Fairy gleaming paradise – we hold hands -
And sparkling thoughts weave dancing stardust poems.
