They appear in our fantasy,
In wishful thoughts, in children story
Lucid creatures, their charm so easy
Like angels in their perfect glory.
You can meet them in golden sunlight,
See them dancing or in helpful deeds.
They work magic in a moonlit night,
Drop the shooting stars like sparkling seeds.
Fairies connect childhood to mature age
They colour our humdrum, bustling world,
Their inspiration fills a new life’s page
And hidden dreams become unfurled.
At day time too you may notice them,
Dancing around flowers, making you esteem.
A stone by their presence turns to a gem,
By their protection your day bears a gleam.
Fancy fairies of flowers and light,
They decorate fantasy and dream,
We know the good fairies’ help and guide
Their blessings are real but often unseen.
Not only for children do fairies exist
There’s so much more between heaven and earth.
Beings present, whenever to assist,
They leave our life, our mind full of mirth.
