As The Dawn Arises
Gayathry Pradeep
|
I once looked out of the casement,
One early morning,
I could see the morning dew,
Which lay on the morning dew,
The water droplets awoke the sleeping leaves.
Slowly the sun was waking up,
Half he came out of the Horizon,
Peeping to see if the mighty stars have taken their way.
The clouds seem so sleepy,
They were all the way round at night,
Roaring all the way round,
The ground lay wet below the gloomy sun.
The mountains stood high with prestige,
Without even moving.
The mighty sky lay dull, like vast carpet.
The blue river flowed with happiness,
Wetting the land.
The farmers ploughing with heart filled happiness.
How beautiful it is to watch over MOTHER NATURE.
