A Parody Of Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Roger Belton |
Whose woods these are I think I know;
And I wonder where he got the dough
To buy this land that I coveted so!
My envy grows and knows no bounds
'Cause I don't own these wooded grounds.
But, such bad feelings won't change the fact
That I waited too long admiring this tract.
Alas, I'll have to work at being content
As more beautiful trees fall to development.
