My Garden
Ursula Steinhauser
|
Lucky with a little garden I can never be
Idle, bored or disgruntled for I always see
Something to be happy and something I can do
Different jobs are waiting and pottering too.
Spring spent on planning, preparing busily,
Summer demands weeding, snipping and more, you see –
Giving me enjoyment, peace, emotions Heaven bound
In this my little world, blessings are spread around.
Autumn brings the harvest, Asters while Roses go
Leaves turn multicoloured and cold winds start to blow,
Then I am rewarded with pictures on my mind
Reflect in rigid Winter the Eden I did find.
