Christmas times I remember
Many, many years ago
Of stars twinkling bright
Ground was white with snow
Its the winter scenery I miss
At this time of the year
I think back to long ago
Reminiscing as I shed a tear
Its here during summer time
Christmas past I recall
By those cosy log fires
Watching the snowflakes fall
Christmas time is here again
I place lights on my tree
Yet as memories return
I remember how it used to be
