Lesson Learned
Seema Banerjee

When the mist was on the semi-circled balcony
The dew was dropping slowly
He had glitter little banjo
And I had sing "Kulla–lo-lo"

Your arm upon my shoulder
And
Your chick against my chick
We lay where silvery platform was
You were fresh as golden peach
North Star kept on watching us
And
Glued our eyes like a leech
The silence between us walked away
And offered us lessons to teach.
