Whirlwind of emotions,
Tossing me all over the place,
So much inside me,
Trying to break free,
Unsure of how to make it happen,
So much potential,
Capable of so much,
Striving to be more than I am,
Shooting for the stars,
Small city girl dreaming to take on the world,
Dreams of making it big,
Scared of the next step,
But, ready to take it none the less,
It took years of practice,
And, so long to shake the demons inside,
Fear is still there,
But, everyone fears something,
It's natural to be afraid from time to time,
But, it's how you deal with it that matters,
I choose to let it fuel me to do my best,
What will happen?
Will I make it?
Maybe I will and maybe I won't,
But, I have to try,
If I don't, I will always wonder,
So, here I go,
Head held up high,
Taking a deep breath,
Walking forward,
Let's see what happens.
