Normality is always truly entrancing.
One moment of anxiety and anguish
can easily be turned into an
hour of enchantment with a
mystical mind experience.
A simple scene of a
countryside with light snowflakes
gently falling, floating down
from the clouds above.
They tenderly touch your forehead,
nose, and even tongue; what enchantment!
You come home one day from work to
find a litter of sweet puppies or
very cute kittens. You take
several of them up into your arms and
they kiss you on your fingers,
forehead, and bark or purr in wonderful unison.
A tiny baby cradled within its mother's arms, or
other young children are
greeting you at the front door as
return home from work.
Smiles beam on everyone's faces
from young through the old.
No matter how you choose to face it
life is really magical!

Life's Fury
Wendy Isbell
Bring ease to these wild rushing waves,
crashing violently against thy vessel.
The force with which they jar tears apart
the splintered wood, shaped to protect this craft
from the dark and ill tempered sea.
Their fury has no end in sight...
Ever so careless to the harm they cause.
Young eyes once too widely opened,
eager to swallow life's offered beauty,
now drenched in pails of salt water...
burning away the clearness of the day.
This journey will surely leave thee
enshrouded in the sour belly of the sea.
Struggling for peace shall only fail.
Yet, fear does not find thee here...Thy will surrender.
This massive creature will have thee.
Thy will greet the end and search for a truth beyond.

Life
Don Conway
Life is a mystery
It's not crystal clear
There must be a reason
As to Why we are here
Those who are Christians
Are biding their time
For life ever after
With the father divine
Some of us think not
Our life ends at death
The journey is finished
When we draw our last breath
Others are waiting
For a ticket to ride
On a large glowing saucer
Green men as their guide
A handful are packing
The ends drawing near
The worlds always ending
Every two or three years
I wish I had answers
I've nothing to give
Were all here together
Enjoy, breathe, and live.
