Valentine Special: The Fading Away Of A Spaded Heart Derrick Flournoy
The sun throws up her hand in gladness
I light up the cigarette of my love with a kiss
Sipping champagne in her lips
Typing the words of her smile in my heart
She drools on the bed of my dreams
Wiping the chocolate off my hands with her eyes
Talking about making love in silence
Caressing my thighs with the subtleness of her mind
She unpacks her luggage in a cell on my brain
Telling me the story of her life in a teardrop
She is that brand new shoe that hurts to wear
Dancing on the moonlight of milky waves
I climb rooftops to see her swim underwater
Peeping through the key hole of the wall clock over there!
As the waterfall goes in chase of running waters
I take the earth's position revolving around the sun
And see her standing through the corner of my ear
Smiling sweetly on my high cheek bones
"Gently, gently" her breast murmurs to my eyes
She's driving my car on the highway of my thoughts
We turn to the left leaving our troubles in the ashtray
I deep my fingers into the fridge of her body
Touching the only wine in her cooler
She swears it were valentine., Valentine!
The toilet beckons I get rid of the habits in my tummy
But I'm hiding from the showers afraid I'd wash the day away
Hours later, we are balling hard now
Cracking up in the back row of the church-house
The priest is talking to us although he is quite unaware of it
She wears my wrist watch on her face so I know its time to go
I lead her to her car in a kiss laden with grateful disappointment
Because she keeps my happiness in the pocket of her soul
And after every five business days she brings it back to me
As she drives off the parking lot, blowing me a kiss of adios
A cranky playful toddler prances, and grabs it in the air
Tugs it in her feeding bottle, and quickly starts to suck
Infuriatingly amused I'm jealously amazed
Yet secretly comforted I've got five more days to wait
For another weekend of sweet valentine

My Valentine Betty Hattersley |
Valentine I love you more than words can say,
And how I think about you, every single day.
Love is very special, especially when it's real,
Every word that's in this rhyme, describes just how I feel.
No-one can replace you, your all the world to me.
To be with you forever, that's how I want to be,
I need you every moment, I want you more each day,
Never to be parted, in love in every way.
Each day the thought is with me, to really make you mine...
Darling you will always be...my sweetest VALENTINE X
